Camp Impact is a Camp Cole-directed weeklong camp experience for children ages 6-14 who are experiencing or have previously experienced homelessness, are from no to low -income families, or are in the foster care system. Through a combination of traditional indoor and outdoor camp activities, like swimming, games, and Arts & Crafts, Camp Impact campers, the majority of whom have not previously attended an overnight camp, get to overcome fears, try new things, make friends, and grow in confidence. In addition to daytime activities, Camp Impact campers enjoy nighttime activities, like glow dances, movie nights, campfires, Olympic Games nights, and more. Local churches and businesses generously provide and serve meals and snacks for Camp Impact.
Camp Impact 2024 will be held from June 3rd to June 7th.
You can apply to be a Counselor and Counselor-in-Training for Camp Impact here. Counselors must be 16 years or older, and Counselors-in-Training must be 14 or 15 years old.
