Camp Impact is a safe and happy place where ordinary experiences teach, prepare, and inspire campers to engage in opportunities that develop hope and confidence.

Camp Impact is a Camp Cole-directed weeklong camp experience for children ages 6-14 who are experiencing or have previously experienced homelessness in sheltering programs, foster programs, or no to low income families. Through a combination of traditional indoor and outdoor camp activities, like swimming, games, and Arts & Crafts, Camp Impact campers, the majority of whom have not previously attended an overnight camp, get to overcome fears, try new things, make friends, and grow in confidence. In addition to daytime activities, Camp Impact campers enjoy nighttime activities, like glow dances, movie nights, campfires, Olympic Games nights, and more. Local churches and businesses generously provide and serve meals and snacks for Camp Impact. If you are interested in supplying food or items for Camp Impact, please email margaretdeans@campcole.org

All counselors must be 16 years or older, and all Junior Counselors must be 14-15 years old. All NEW counselors will be subject to an interview. Camp Impact gives children the opportunity to step away from the worries of home and embrace a joyful environment in which they can focus on just being kids.
