Campus Offerings

Our Campus

Our state-of-the-art campus was intentionally designed to be a place where all of our campers, regardless of ability or circumstance, can feel safe and at-home. Camp Cole’s 40 acres of beautiful and peaceful land are home to the Stacy Sawyer Welcome Center, the spacious Cassels Cafe, a stocked Medical Care Facility, 13 Courage Cabins that comfortably sleep over 200, a Nature Trail, a Turf Field, and our relaxing Peter’s Pond. All aspects of our campus are ADA-compliant and approved by the American Camp Association.

We are currently constructing a 20,000-square-foot Southeastern Freight Lines Activity Center. This building will house a gymnasium, a stage, a movement studio, an art studio, breakout rooms, a canteen, a staff breakroom, and a sensory gym. Construction on the Southeastern Freight Lines Activity Center will conclude in Spring of 2024. This intentional space will allow us to provide more indoor room for our partners, ensuring the fun will still go on amidst potential inclement weather. Activities Galore

The following are just some of the enriching, exciting activities that are offered on our campus!
Ample space allows for all sorts of daytime and evening fun.

Waterfront Adventures

With trained and certified lifeguards and outdoor adventure experts to lead them, campers can splash, paddle, and play while using our kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards. Jake’s Dock offers a fully-accessible place to relax and fish from our well-stocked Peter’s Pond. Campers who prefer to cool off in the water can do so in our roped-off swimming area. In addition to water activities, campers can make sand castles on the beach or sit in our peaceful Fortson Family Gazebo.

Cole's Roots

We love providing our campers with enriching, nature-based experiences that take place in our very own backyard. At Cole’s Roots, campers groom, care for, mount, and unmount horses, observe and feed goats, and collect eggs from and observe the behaviors of chickens. Each day at the farm is full of unique and fun adventures!

Bubba Roof & Family Pool

On warm summer days, there is nothing better than taking a refreshing dip in the Bubba Roof & Family Pool! Its zero-entry design and accessible ramp ensure that all campers can get in and out of the water with no trouble. Our Program Staff guard the water and equip our campers with any necessary life jackets.

Outdoor Games & Teambuilding

We believe that camp is a fantastic place to build and strengthen relationships, which is the goal of our Outdoor Games and Teambuilding program. We strive to help campers and groups improve communication, teach resolution and conflict skills, and create opportunities for problem-solving, all while having fun and making memories.
