Assistant Camp Manager

The Assistant Camp Manager will further the mission of Camp Cole through the planning and delivery of programming. They will design and deliver activities that are safe, fun, and enriching. Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor

Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor will lead in the maintenance and repair of the camp’s buildings, grounds, equipment, and other facilities. Lifeguards (Also Called “Program Staff”)

Our lifeguards are responsible for guarding the pool and waterfront, ensuring a safe environment throughout Camp Cole, and assisting in the management of the physical operation of Camp Cole. Camp Counselor

Counselor positions are detailed below. *Unpaid position*

Camp Impact: This is a Camp Cole-directed camp for children who are experiencing or have previously experienced homelessness or are from low-income families. To learn more about this camp, click here

  • Counselors: Camp Impact counselors will be in charge of 12 children in a cabin with 3 other counselors. As a counselor during the week of Camp Impact, you are a volunteer and will not be paid. You are required to arrive at Camp Cole on July 17th at 10:00 AM (subject to change) and to stay until July 22nd at 3:00 PM (subject to change). All counselors must be 16 years or older and will be required to do a background check. If you are interested in being a Camp Impact counselor, please view the application here. Camp Rise Above: Camp Rise Above provides fun, life changing camp experiences to children with serious illnesses, life challenges, and disabilities. Session 1 will serve children with Tourette’s, heart and kidney disease, autism, cerebral palsy, cystic fibrosis, cancer, and autism. Session 2 will serve children with spina-bifida, craniofacial differences, and Down syndrome. To learn more about this camp, click here

  • Counselors: Camp Rise Above counselors must be at least 18 years old. Camp Rise Above Session 1 counselors must be at Camp Cole from June 19th-24th. Camp Rise Above Session 2 counselors must be at Camp Cole from June 26th-July 1st. Camp KEMO: CAMP KEMO Counselors must be 18 years old, a high school graduate, and fully vaccinated (no later than June 1). As a counselor (or counselor in training) at Camp KEMO, you will spend the week volunteering your time facilitating fun, life-changing experiences for the campers. Camp Wonder Hands: Camp Wonder Hands serves children who are deaf and hard-of-hearing. This camp will be at Camp Cole from July 10th to July 16th. There will be a mandatory training session from July 8th to July 9th. You do not have to be deaf, hard-of-hearing, or possess the ability to sign. Camp Wonder Hands will provide training during an orientation session. Counselor applications are due April 15, 2022.
