Capital Campaign Phase 2

The Why

Over the past three years, we have had the honor and privilege of serving over 1,800 individuals with illnesses, disabilities, and life challenges. Our campers have kayaked together in Peter’s Pond, caught fish off Jake’s Dock, explored campus during scavenger hunts, played games on the Turf Field, splashed in the pool, and so much more. They have had countless adventures on our campus, but it’s time for us to think bigger. We will take Camp Cole from “great” to “greatest” with the addition of a new indoor space, guaranteeing that our campers and renters have a place to go when inclement weather impedes them from making memories outside.

the what

The Southeastern Freight Lines Activity Center is a 20,000-square-foot building that will feature a gymnasium, a stage, a movement studio, an art studio, four breakout rooms, a canteen, a staff breakroom, and two porches. Built with comfortability and flexibility for guests in mind, this intentional space will allow our campers and renters to spend time together in new and exciting ways. Designed by Garvin Development Group and built by Hood Construction, our Activity Center will allow us to double the amount of people we serve each year by providing a space that can be used regardless of the season or weather. We broke ground in August of 2023 and will finish construction before our Summer 2024 camp season.

The How

The Southeastern Freight Lines Activity Center would not be possible without the support of our Inside Magic Capital Campaign donors.
