Camp Impact is a Camp Cole-directed weeklong camp experience for children ages 6-14 who are experiencing or have previously experienced homelessness in sheltering programs, foster programs, or no to low income families. Through a combination of traditional indoor and outdoor camp activities, like swimming, games, and Arts & Crafts, Camp Impact campers, the majority of whom have not previously attended an overnight camp, get to overcome fears, try new things, make friends, and grow in confidence. In addition to daytime activities, Camp Impact campers enjoy nighttime activities, like glow dances, movie nights, campfires, Olympic Games nights, and more. Local churches and businesses generously provide and serve meals and snacks for Camp Impact.
Camper and counselor applications are available here. If you are interested in providing items or meals for Camp Impact, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
